PH of Vegetables

This may seem an odd question....but can anyone point me in the right direction to find out which vegetables have an alkali bias?

Due to health reasons I need to consume alkali biased veg and avoid acid biased veg.

Thanks

Colin

Re: PH of Vegetables

Just as a fyi the pH that a plant grows is not always indicative of the plant, vegetable, or fruit. Most if not all Peppers are alkali but like to grow at the same pH as acidic Tomatoes do. I think I have a reference for what you're looking for. I'll get back to you if I find it.

Re: PH of Vegetables

Never mind about the pH before eating!!
All fresh vegetables and fruits are alkaline after digestion - even citrus fruits!!
In nuts, only Almond is alkaline. Others are acidic.
