The RainForest is General Hydroponics most powerful hydroponic propagation module. Practically an exact replica of the original Ein Gedi System developed in Israel, the RainForest is designed to maximize the amount of oxygen available to plant roots.<br><br>The design is simple and brilliant. Plants are suspended within special "net pots" by molded rubber holders and surrounded with Grorox. Below is an air-gap which the roots hang into and below the air-gap is the nutrient solution. A special motorized vaporizer assembly lifts the nutrient up and sprays it within the air-gap. The result is the highest level of oxygen which can be attained within the root zone.
For propagating hard-to-root cuttings or quick-starting seeds, transplants or seedlings, there is no propagation system that will match the performance of the RainForest. Ideal for starting plants or even for growing plants to maturity and harvest - RainForest is the ultimate.
Model 318 is the favorite for growers who want to grow medium to size plants to harvest. This model has been used by the Argonne National Laboratory as well as Los Alamos National Laboratory for scientific research and has demonstrated the most dramatic growth rates and yields of any hydroponic system yet tested; it is also the most popular unit which we export to Holland - a very demanding market with knowledgeable and skilled growers. If you want a modular system and want to see hydroponics at its best, the Model 318 is the ultimate. Identical to the Model 242 except the cover holds 18 three-inch net pots. Model 318 includes UL listed motorized vaporizer, 18 three inch net pots, Grorox, Flora Series plant nutrients and complete instructions.
Several RainForest modules can be connected to a Texas Controller for larger installations.
