Nitrozyme contains highly concentrated hormones extracted from the North Atlantic sea plant Ascophylum Nodsoum. This plant lives in an environment of extreme temperature variation which helps explain the extraordinary level of hormones it produces. Cytokinins are hormones whose action occurs in the process of cell division and cell enlargement. Hydroponic systems are prone to levels of stress that may not be visible to the grower but may greatly reduce the plant's ability to produce the hormones that it needs for the vital processes of nutrient uptake and distribution, cell division, root development, and the production of flowers and fruit. This means that many plants in hydroponic systems are not achieving their full genetic potential. Nitrozyme can be added to hydroponic nutrient solutions, but is best used as a foliar spray to increase the hormone availability to its maximum. Nitrozyme contains powerful natural growth enhancers, micro nutrients and bio-stimulants that will stimulate the growth process of the plant. Tests showed that Nitrozyme gives 44% improved germination; 57% more leaves; 34% larger leaves and earlier flowering.
