I bought two of these for a cheap price and havent used them yet i hope they work well. Hopefully if any problems its just a fuse. |

| The main problem turns out to be a cheap fuse put into the ballast at the factory. Any Radio Shack carries the replacement you need. For the 120v get a 8A125v slow blow. For the 220 or 240v get a 5A250v slow blow part # 270-1067. No problems with the 400 or 1000w ... :-) . |

| The Future Brite ballast is still in its beginning stages, and are prone to problems. Sure the savings sound great, but if the ballast goes out how long will it take to get my light back? I can do work on any of the magnetic coil ballasts, but I don't know a thing about the interior of the electronic ballasts. |
