Gnatrol at home

Is there a simple home version of Gnatrol I can make to kill gnat larvae on my plant roots?
I'm too broke to buy the stuff and my crop is going down fast.

Re: Gnatrol at home

get some sand and put a thin layer on top of the dirt make sure to cover all the ways into your planters. this will stop the new nats from escaping. ive done this and know it works.
